I am currently looking for a piercing apprentice. The intention would be for that apprentice to work in the shop full time once the apprenticeship is finished. What I look for in a person is determination and reliability. This is a fun industry to work in but it is not for the faint of heart. Nor is it for the sensitive. The apprenticeship is a fast- paced learning experience that requires your complete dedication and focus. It also means adhering to industry regulations and shop policy. Anyone applying for the position will be expected to know how apprenticing works in this industry before contacting me. If you feel that this is the right career for you and you have what it takes please contact me. People that I feel have possibilities will be evaluated for 1 day in the shop prior to any decision to apprentice you. Please do not apply if you are at an unstable work place in your life or have obligations that would pull you away from the apprenticeship….you need to have a lot of free time in your life. It can be very difficult to reach us by phone so we hope that people will use this site to refer to our open hours and piercing prices. We are unable to answer the phone when we are with customer’s and sometimes the shop is so busy that you can call and call but not get anyone answering. We apologize for this but we can’t change the issue.

Hi, just over two weeks ago, i got my lower lip pierced, on the left side … all went well untill two days ago, i noticed on the inside of my lip, right under the back of the stud, my skin is very white, and abnormal looking. i do not feel any pain or discomfort , just doesnt seem right , also i have not changed it yet . and have been using the solution givin at the shop, for the outside twice a day , and mouthwash many times daily.

I don’t work on tuesdays anymore 🙂 You don’t need an appointment at our shop. We don’t sell any white gold eyebrow jewelry. The only gold jewelry we sell are nose rings and lip rings.

First off, what the hell is a vajanis. If you mean vagina I’d suggest not getting one done until you can at least spell it right. No we don’t sell butthole plugs and even if we did I wouldn’t insert if for you.

Hi, I was wondering about belly button piercings, and i have a few questions. I have a scar on the bottom inside of my belly button, would it be ok to pierce the top still? the scar is really old now. Also I hear that its sore abit right after its done will I be able to drive home afterwards or shoud I get a bus? One last question, I’ve decided to wait to get the piercing untill September so I wont have to swim with it in untill next year, is that a good idea, or should i get just get it now?

Swimming in public pools isn’t an option for 6 weeks after the piercing….lakes and oceans are fine. You can still pierce the top. Na, it’s not sore after, IMO but if you’re concerned at all don’t drive.

I will do it but you need to have a good talk with your daughter before coming. They usually freak out pretty good once they know it’s a needle. They would have to be done one at a time at the moment. The jewelry is included.

hi, i came in around 9 or 10 weeks ago with my boyfriend to get a lip piercing….we would of came in the asked 8 weeks, but due to the strike this is ealiest we can come in. We will be coming in today, to change the initial large ring, to the fitting smaller one. Ironically enough, the ball to my ring fell out in the shower today, so i can only bring the actual hoop. Hey. I recently (aug22) got my left helix pierced. I know the cartilage piercings take some time to heal and so far zero signs of infection! I just recently noticed what I think might be one of those little bumps starting on the back. Are there any ways for me to stop the bump if it develops? And how long do they usually take to stop being swollen/sore? Thanks a lot!

Healing time depends on a few things. If you sleep on it, don’t clean it and play with it too much it’ll slow things down a lot. Those little bumps are usually caused by the jewelry moving around too much…happens if you sleep on it or play with it. The best thing to do is keep the salts to it so it dries out.

You definitely read it wrong. We only use new sterilized jewelry to pierce with. There’s no such thing as a “piercing licence”.

Hey, I have quite a few questions about VCH. I’ve wanted one for a while but haven’t had the nerve to do it, or found a reliable place to have it done… A friend came to you for this piercing a while ago and she said there wasn’t enough tissue to pierce?? Can I check this myself so I’m not wasting your time or a trip to Halifax for something I can’t get anyway? I’ve heard the pain isn’t to bad in comparison to my ears (both lobes and top of my right ear- ouch-), but I am concerned about possible tearing or discomfort, and what problems may arise if down the road I want to take it out either temporarily or permanently… Help? Also, since it’s walk-in only, is it usually hard to get in without a long wait? I know almost exactly where you are, but I’m about an hour away. Really appreciate any advice , Looking forward to hopefully getting this sooner then later 🙂

It’s really rare that someone doesn’t have enough hood to work with. Maybe 1 in 200. There really isn’t a way for you to check yourself because you wouldn’t really know what to look for and it’s not something I can put into words without pictures. About the pain, it’s a quick sharp pinch…not usually as bad as most expect. People don’t usually have to wait more than 20 mins. I’ve honestly not had anyone tell me that they’ve torn this piercing and I’ve done a few thousand….hope this helped.
